Hello, in that location.

Information technology looks similar your xmlrpc.php file (which is needed for Jetpack to piece of work properly) is being blocked by something, expecting a username and password:

https://world wide web.alaingrodard.fr/skbak/xmlrpc.php?for=jetpack

This file is used past Jetpack and other plugins and apps to connect to your site. It must return the following exact message:

XML-RPC server accepts Mail requests only.

You tin can see a working example here: https://jetpack.com/xmlrpc.php

Since your site returns a 401 Unauthorized fault for this file, I would recommend that you cheque the following:

1. Can you lot come across the xmlrpc.php file at the root of your WordPress installation when accessing your site via FTP? If you can't, and so please try re-installing WordPress. You lot tin do this by going to the Dashboard -> Upgrades page, then clicking the "Reinstall WordPress" button.

ii. Do you use any security plugins that may block admission to this file? If so, could you lot endeavor disabling any options that would? You might likewise desire to check your site's .htaccess file for any rules that might be blocking access, especially to the xmlrpc.php.

iii. Does your webhost cake access to this file? If yous don't find any plugin that blocks access in this way, then I would recommend reaching out to your host to ask if they can remove that block and so we can try a new connectedness.

For the absolute best results, you lot could also have them whitelist the following to avoid future issues:

1. All connections to and from *.wordpress.com
two. The Jetpack IP ranges noted on this page: https://jetpack.com/support/hosting-faq/

Once you lot've spoken with them and the xmlrpc.php is stock-still, please permit us know and nosotros can endeavour another connection test from this side. Thank you!

I fabricated a small alter at my stop and so hopefully yous should exist able to connect Jetpack now.

Please try cycling the Jetpack connectedness by deactivating Jetpack in your wp-admin dashboard at Plugins > Installed Plugins and then reactivating it and connecting to WordPress.com over again.

More than info on how to do that can be found here: https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/

If yous however come across connection errors, cheque for any security/caching plugin you may have enabled, and effort temporarily disable them, to see if it fixes the problem.
My colleague MadHatter has already mentioned that merely better to become for another round of checks 馃檪

You may also want to search for any firewall on your server-side that might be blocking the communication with the xmlrpc.php file – your host should be able to aid yous with that.

Let me know how you go and we'll have it from at that place in case you lot nevertheless struggle.
